The 24th Annual Bramlett Beans and Cornbread was held on Thursday, December 1, at the Texarkana, Texas Convention Center. This event featured beans, cornbread, tea, coffee, and dessert. Proceeds from Bramlett Beans and Cornbread provide Christmas food baskets to families in the community. This event allows them to serve over 100 families with food baskets that include a month's worth of food and Christmas gifts. Bramlett Beans and Cornbread is sponsored by Big Jake's BBQ, Texas Independent School District, Starbucks, Hilton Garden Inn/Texarkana Convention Center, Texarkana Water Utilities, and the City of Texarkana, Texas.
