Pitch It Texarkana 2025
The fourth annual Pitch It Texarkana competition concluded on Tuesday, April 29, at Crossties Downtown, celebrating the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of the Ark-La-Tex region. Out of 63 registered participants, three innovative ventures rose to the top, capturing the attention of the judges and the enthusiastic audience. The energy was palpable as local entrepreneurs delivered their concise three-minute pitches, showcasing a diverse array of creative business ideas and inventions. The evening culminated in the announcement of the winners, who impressed the judges with their vision, clarity, and potential.
First place and the $10,000 grand prize were awarded to Split Vending – Chloe Young and Amber Adams. Their pitch highlighted a strategically placed vending machine catering to tourists on both sides of the Texas-Arkansas state line, offering souvenirs and essential travel items 24/7. Their innovative approach aims to capture visitor spending and provide a convenient solution in an area where current options are limited.
Second place and a $5,000 prize went to Mi Clínica Hispana – Aliana Hernandez. Aliana presented her vision for The Sauna Lounge at Mi Clínica Hispana, an expansion of her existing clinic to offer affordable infrared sauna sessions and detox therapies tailored to the Hispanic community—bridging the gap in accessible wellness and preventative care.
Third place and a $2,500 prize were awarded to Branch Catering – Channen Branch. Channen’s pitch showcased his full-service catering company based in Ashdown, Arkansas, providing high-quality, home-style meals for various events and a successful company lunch program. His focus on bold flavors, family-style service, and community connection resonated with the judges.
The success of Pitch It Texarkana was a true community effort. The Assembly Line extends its deepest gratitude to the many dedicated volunteers who served as judges and timers, managed participant check-in, greeted attendees at the door, and ensured the smooth flow of the preliminary rounds by escorting participants.
