We Are Washington Gala 2025
“We Are Washington, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering and shaping the youth of our community into driven, upstanding individuals, hosted its 2nd Annual Gala on March 6, 2025, at the Texarkana, Arkansas Convention Center.
The Washington Community Development Center—formerly the historic Booker T. Washington High School—has been revitalized into a vibrant space offering life skills development, youth sports, tutoring, and a variety of community events. In addition to its own programming, the center provides a home for several other nonprofits, all operating rent-free within the facility.
The gala, held in support of We Are Washington’s mission, brought together business owners, community leaders, and advocates for youth development. The evening featured an exciting live and silent auction, a heartwarming performance by the Washington kids’ choir, and a delicious dinner provided by Roma’s Italian Restaurant. It was truly a night to remember—filled with inspiration, generosity, and community spirit.”
