Valedictorian— Bannon Price

Bannon is the son of Jennifer Sansom.

At AHS, he was involved in the Student Council (Vice President), Class Officer (President), National Honor Society (President), Beta Club (President & Treasurer), SkillsUSA (State President, Vice-President, and Treasurer) (Chapter President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Parliamentarian + 3X State Champion and National Top 15 Competitor), Future Business Leaders of America (2 Time President, Secretary + 3X State Medalist and National Qualifier), Gifted and Talented, AHS Student Voice Advisory Council, AHS Tutoring—NTA Certified Intermediate Tutor, Arkansas Boys State Delegate, Presidential Service Award Gold Medal.

His community activities included Senator Boozman's Congressional Youth Cabinet. United States Senate Youth Program Delegate, Arkansas Youth Governor through YMCA Youth & Government Program, Little River County Poll Worker, National Foundation for Cancer Research Youth Ambassador, United Planet's American-Iraqi Teams Addressing Climate Change and Human Health, Founder of the Arkansas Initiative for Change, Wadley Jr. Volunteer, and American Red Cross Volunteer

Bannon plans to attend Harvard University, majoring in Government and Economics. He has received the National Merit Scholarship, United States Senate Youth Program Scholarship, Coca-Cola Scholarship, Elks Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship, National Honor Society Scholarship, Southern Sportsmans Foundation Scholarship, Paul Hale Memorial Scholarship, Eric T. Salutatorian— Ella Bowman

Ella is the daughter of Kasey and Dylan Bowman.

While at AHS, Ella was involved in National Honor Society (Vice President), Beta Club (Vice President), Future Business Leaders of America (Secretary), Project Prevent Youth Coalition, Skills USA, Varsity Cheer (Captain), Ashdown Panther Theater, Gifted and Talented, and Senior Class Vice President. She plans to attend The University of Arkansas and major in biology, hoping to become a doctor. Ella received The Leadership Scholarship from The University of Arkansas, the Davis Family Scholarship, the William L. and Mary E. Welch Memorial Scholarship, the Ministerial Alliance Scholarship, and the Arkansas Challenge Scholarship. 


Luke Barnes

Luke is the son of Margaret and Travis Barnes.

At AHS, he participated in band, eSports, Quizbowl, Chess, and AHS Tutoring. Luke plans to attend The University of Arkansas to study Astrophysics. He received the Paul Hale Memorial Scholarship, University of Arkansas Chancellor's Scholarship, Baylor Merit Scholarship, Questbridge Scholarship, Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholarship, Arkansas Challenge Scholarship, Arkansas Tech University Tier 4 Scholarship, Dr. Brian L. Matthews AIM Scholarship, Ashdown Alumni Scholarship, Centenary Presidential Scholarship and Centenary Legacy Scholarship.


Caleb Blankenship

Caleb is the son of Jody and Chad Blankenship.

While at AHS, Caleb was involved in the National Honor Society, Beta Club, AHS Tutoring, Student Voice Group, and AHS Panther Theatre. He will attend the University of Mississippi to obtain a degree in Chemistry and strive for an occupation in Health Science, all while playing football for Ole Miss. Caleb received the Bubba Adams Scholarship, Jamie Green Memorial, Ben Birtcher Memorial, and Bink Spigner Memorial scholarships. 


Rylee Youngblood

Rylee is the daughter of Mandy and Tyler Davis and the late Glendon Youngblood.

She has served as president of the Ashdown High School Student Council, Ashdown FFA (Reporter and president), Future Business Leaders of America (Reporter), Project Prevent Youth Coalition (PPYC), AHS Panther Theatre, Ashdown School of Innovation Student Leader, TARGETS (Gifted and Talented), chess, and quiz bowl teams. After graduating, she plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in Agriculture Communications with a minor in pre-law. Rylee received the UofA Leadership, AYE, Oaklawn Jockey, LRC Cattlemen's, Ashdown Alumni, Chad Trammell,  Arkansas Academic Challenge, and Farm Credit scholarships.


Nash Brown

Nash is the son of Robin Adams and Rodger Brown.

He was in the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Tutoring. Nash plans to attend National Park College, play baseball, and study business. He received the Dugan Ward Scholarship, Ben Birtcher Memorial, Fred Jester Sr. Memorial, HSU Centurium, ATU Tier 3 Academic, and AR Academic Challenge.


Michala Scarborough

Michala is the daughter of Jennifer and Michael Scarborough.

She was involved in the AHS band.  Michala plans to study animal science and pre-vet at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. She received the Roger and Von Rose Memorial, the PPMB Scholarship in honor of Mark Pounds, the UofA Scholarship, the TXTA Foundation, the PEO Scholarship,  and the AR Challenge.


Isabella Woolfley

Isabella is the daughter of Chelcie Burns and Travis Burns.

While at AHS, she participated in the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Skills-USA, and National Tutoring Association. Isabella plans to attend the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Health Professions Dental Hygiene Program.  She received the Ashdown Dental Clinic Coleman Pearson Memorial Scholarship, the National Honor Society Scholarship, and the Nathan Huddleston Memorial Scholarship.


Mary Vermeer

Mary is the daughter of Gayle and Brian Vermeer. 

While at AHS, she was involved in the band, AHS Panther Theater, Beta Club, and National Honor Society. Mary plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University and major in Fine Arts in Musical Theater. Mary received the Presidential Scholarship, Flute Scholarship, Theater Scholarship, Leilana Warren Memorial Scholarship, and Matt Harris Memorial Scholarship. 


Alexa Pena


Faith Wade

Faith is the daughter of Rene and Joe Wade. 

She was involved in the Beta Club, National Honor Society, medical classes, and numerous community service activities (75+ hours) while at Ashdown High School. Faith plans to stay in the workforce and attend college within the next few years. She received academic scholarships from UAHT, UCA, and Texas A&M Texarkana.


Skylar Masters

Skylar is the son of Melissa King and Eric Masters.

He was part of the AHS Tutoring Program. He plans to attend basic Army National Guard training and then Southern Arkansas University. Skylar received the Domtar and Sharon Booth McGee Ashdown Alumni Association Scholarships.


Wil Ringgold

Wil is the son of Stephanie and Dakota Ringgold. 

He was involved in band and TARGETS while at AHS. Wil plans to become a pilot. He received the AR Challenge and AR Future Grants.


Jayden Murphy

Jayden is the daughter of Jennifer Wright and Jeff Murphy.

At AHS, she participated in Skills USA, PPYC, NHS, Beta Club, Yearbook, Community Service, and Ashdown Panther Theater. Jayden plans to attend Texas A&M Texarkana to pursue Neonatal Nursing. She received the Soaring Eagle, Ministerial Alliance, Mil-Way Matt Harris Memorial, and Little River Memorial Hospital  Scholarships.


Connor Cobb

Connor is the son of April and Trey Cobb.

He was involved in the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and the AHS Golf Team. He plans to attend the University of Arkansas and pursue a degree in Architecture. Connor received the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship, University of Arkansas First Year Advantage Scholarship, TDS Scholarship, and AHS Alumni Association Scholarship.


Samantha Fowler

Samantha is the daughter of Tammy Fowler.

At AHS, she was involved in FFA, NHS, and Beta Club. She plans to attend SAU, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Samantha received the Army National Guard tuition fund.


Anna Arnold

Anna is the daughter of Jamie and Dustin Smith.

Anna was involved in the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Band, PPMB Color Guard, Cheerleading, and FFA. She plans to attend Cossatot and pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. Anna received the Diva Thomas Memorial and Matt Harris Memorial scholarships.


Audrey Kate Bishop

Audrey Kate is the daughter of Sandy Smith and Thad Bishop.

While at AHS, she was involved in Ashdown Panther Theater, AHS Cheer, AHS Track, Skills USA, Beta Club, National Honor Society, PPYC, Student Council, and TARGETS. Audrey Kate plans to attend Louisiana Tech and major in nursing. She received the Bulldog Scholarship, Farm Bureau Scholarship, and Ashdown Alumni Association Scholarship.


Allen Booth

Allen is the son of Bessie and Rickey Booth.

He was a member of the Ashdown band program. Allen plans to finish his associate's degree and then attend culinary school. 


Caroline Wrinkle

Caroline is the daughter of Shonda Redfearn and Tommy Wrinkle.

Caroline was an AHS Varsity cheerleader involved in Beta Club, NHS, Skills USA, PPYC, AHS Panther Theater, and FFA. She plans to attend Cossatot Community College to become a physical therapy assistant. Caroline received the JoAnn Biggs Ashdown Alumni Association, Ashdown Administrators, UA Cossatot Board of Visitors, and the AR Academic Challenge  Scholarships. 


Rylie Fyock

Rylie is the daughter of Kadie Cowley and Jared Fyock. 

While at AHS, she participated in FBLA, BETA, NHS, Targets, Theatre, and PPYC. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas, majoring in Biology. Rylie received the following scholarships:  the Leadership Scholarship, the TARGETS Scholarship, the Ashdown Alumni Scholarship, the Academic Challenge, and the Arkansas Future Grant.


Makayla Lawson

Makayla is the daughter of Tameika Sanders and Micheal Lawson.

She participated in the Beta Club and National Honor Society. She was a 3-year varsity volleyball player and a 3-year varsity cheerleader, served as captain her senior year, 2-year drama club, and was senior class representative. Makayla plans to attend Cossatot Community College in Ashdown, where she will get her RN degree and then attend a nursing school to become a Certified Registered Nurse anesthetist. Makayla received local scholarships, as well as scholarships from HSU and UCA.


Gage Vaught

Gage is the son of Shaye Johnston.

He participated in band, cross country, and track while at AHS. Gage plans to study computer engineering and received the Courtney Jewell Memorial, Coca-Cola, and AR Academic Challenge Scholarships.


Audrie Lansdel

Audire is the daughter of Toni Lansdell.

She was involved in Skills USA while at Ashdown High School. After graduation, she plans to attend Texas A&M Texarkana. Audrie received the Honors Scholarship.
