TASD Class of 2026 Top Ten
#1 – Valedictorian – Jacob Dupree
Jacob Henry Dupree is the son of Jessica Dupree and Jason Dupree and has been actively involved throughout high school in varsity tennis, varsity basketball, Fellowship of Christian Students, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, Quiz Bowl, and Link Crew. He is also a member of Northern Hills Baptist Church. After graduation, Jacob plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he will major in Electrical Engineering. During his time at Arkansas High School, he has earned numerous honors and awards, including Academic All-Conference Tennis and Basketball all four years, Academic All-State Tennis and Basketball all four years, 2026 Conference Champion in Tennis, 2026 All-Conference Tennis, 2026 All-State Tennis, participation in Arkansas Boys State, Arkansas Scholastic Honor Student recognition, National Merit Commended Scholar distinction, and AP Scholar with Distinction honors. He was also nominated as an Arkansas Times Academic All-Star and awarded the Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship, the Dr. Samuel D. McGill Endowed Chancellor’s Scholarship, and the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship.
#2 – Salutatorian – Hannah Skinner
Hannah Grace Skinner is the daughter of Rebecca Leah Cantrell and Jerry Dale Hall and has been actively involved throughout high school in Student Council, most recently serving as Student Council President. She is a member of the National Honor Society and plays on the tennis team. Hannah plans to major in Finance with a focus in Financial Analytics and Business Management at the University of Arkansas before attending law school to pursue a career as a corporate lawyer. She attends Sacred Heart Catholic Church and has earned the AP Capstone Diploma. In addition to her academic and leadership accomplishments, Hannah has a deep appreciation for the arts and creates photo embroidery works, one of which is currently featured in the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council art show.
#3 – Leyton Stone
Leyton Maddox Stone is the son of Lisa Melee Stone and William Louis Stone. In high school, Leyton has been involved with the EAST, Advanced Placement Art, GATE/Gifted & Talented, National Honor Society, and Collegiate Academy programs. Stone is a Leadership Texarkana 2025 Wilbur Award nominee. He has been awarded the TAMUT Presidential Scholarship and the Conway Endowed Engineering Scholarship and has been the recipient of multiple Chancellor's Academic Awards from the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. For the past two and a half years, Leyton has worked closely with Union Pacific Senior Special Agent Darin Archer on a rail safety project at the high school. After high school, Leyton plans to attend Texas A&M University–Texarkana to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering.
#4 – Hallie Harris
Hallie Grace Harris is the daughter of Jamie and Christopher Harris. During her four years at Arkansas High School, she has been a member of AHS Student Council, Razorback TV, Porker Yearbook, National Honor Society, Razorback Cheer, the Principal’s Advisory Team, and the Superintendent’s Advisory Team. She is a member of First United Methodist Church (Texarkana, Arkansas) and has coordinated and been involved in several community service projects throughout her school career. Hallie plans to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to pursue a degree in Exercise Science in order to become an athletic trainer.
#5 – Arlandrea Reeves
Arlandrea Gayle Reeves is the daughter of Arlandos Reeves and Gayle Reeves. At Arkansas High School, she is a member of Razorback Redline and Razorback TV. In the community, she is a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. After high school, she will attend Southern Arkansas University and major in Criminal Justice. After earning her undergraduate degree, she hopes to pursue a master's degree in criminology and eventually work as a behavioral analyst. She has been awarded multiple academic scholarships and a full-tuition scholarship to Southern Arkansas University. Reeves is very grateful for everyone who supported her throughout high school and is excited to begin her next chapter. She wants to thank her family, friends, and teachers for helping her get to where she is today.
#6 – Tiffany By
Tiffany Ratha By is the daughter of Sophal and Sitho By. In high school, she was involved in Razorback TV and the art programs, and she was the TASD Standout Razorback of the Month. Tiffany was an Arkansas Times 2026 Academic All-Stars nominee and a National Merit Semifinalist. After high school, she plans to attend the University of Houston to major in Physics.
#7 – Lainey Brooks
Lainey Beth Brooks is the daughter of Candis and Corey Fricks. At Arkansas High School, she was a member of the Gifted and Talented program, varsity cheerleading, National Honor Society, the bowling team, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), the Medical Mentorship Program, and AHS Link Crew. She received the National Cheer Association Individual Leadership Award, was named Academic All-State, and was designated an All-State Cheerleader. Lainey served as Miss Arkansas High School 2023, was the 2025 Homecoming Queen, and is the Class of 2026 Fiftieth Girl. She attended Girls State, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Brooks is a member of Church on the Rock. She has received $1.6 million in cumulative scholarship offers from the colleges and universities to which she applied. After high school, Lainey plans to attend the University of Arkansas to major in Physics with a concentration in astronomy, with the goal of becoming an astrophysicist.
#8 – Journeé Burris
Journeé Kamauri-Lenate Burris is the daughter of Latrina Nicole Burris and Corey Washington. During her time at Arkansas High School, she was a member of Razorback Redline, the Technology Student Association, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), National Honor Society, and the Medical Mentorship Program. She plans to attend Texas A&M University–Texarkana to major in Psychology with the aspiration of becoming a child psychologist.
#9 – Sarah Dale Boyles
Sarah Dale Boyles is the daughter of Tracey and Dr. Dixon Boyles. Boyles is a member of the wind ensemble, marching band, jazz band, pep bands, Destination Imagination team, Quiz Bowl team, and has been a part of the Gifted and Talented program, National Honor Society, and the Collegiate Academy program. Boyles has been awarded the John Philip Sousa Band Award, the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, and the Scott Joplin Outstanding Jazz Soloist Award. She is an active member of the Texarkana Winds Community Band and the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. Boyles will graduate with an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas and march in the Razorback Marching Band. Boyles plans to double major in Music Performance and Music Education with aspirations of becoming a professional musician and a band director.
#10 – Elissa Fant
Elissa Aubrey Fant is the daughter of Teri and Damon Fant. At Arkansas High School, she has been a member of the Razorback Band, Educators Rising, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Students. After high school, she plans to attend Southern Arkansas University and major in Elementary Education in order to become an elementary school teacher and eventually a librarian or counselor.
