Touchdowns and Tastings
Opportunities, Inc. will hold a brewery benefit on October 17, 2021, to support its programs and services for children and adults with disabilities.
The benefit, “Touchdowns & Tastings,” is Opportunities’ third annual brewery benefit. The “Angels of Opportunities Guild,” a group of women dedicated to volunteering, serving, and raising awareness for Opportunities, sponsors the event in partnership with Pecan Point Gastropub and Brewery. This event will allow people to enjoy craft beer and delicious food while watching the New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys game and supporting Opportunities. New this year is the chance to purchase football squares. You don’t have to love football to love winning prize money. Half of the prize will go to the winner of each quarter, and half will go to Opportunities, Inc.
With more than 500 boys, girls, men and women being served each year, our families rely on Opportunities, Inc. more than ever before.
A few of the ways your participation in this event impacts our community include:
· Residential life in three group homes and 72 independent apartments
· Complex behavioral and medical care
· School readiness and behavior support for children with special needs
· Therapies (speech, occupational, physical) for children with special needs
· Career development and job coaching
· Life skills training and continued learning opportunities
Approximately 88 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to services for our residents and program participants, and those dollars remain in our community.
