The 27th Annual Bramlett Beans and Cornbread was held on Thursday, December 4, at the Texarkana, Texas, Convention Center. This event featured beans, cornbread, tea, coffee, and dessert. Proceeds from Bramlett Beans and Cornbread provide Christmas food baskets to families in the community. This event allows them to serve over 100 families with food baskets that include a month's worth of food.

Texarkana Emergency Center & Hospital Celebrates 10 Years

Texarkana Emergency Center & Hospital celebrated its 10-year anniversary in November 2025 with a ribbon-cutting event at its facility on Cowhorn Creek Drive. Community leaders, staff, and supporters gathered to honor a decade of providing 24/7 emergency medical care to the Texarkana region. The milestone highlighted the center’s continued commitment to accessible, patient-focused healthcare and recognized the impact it has made on local families since opening its doors ten years ago.
