CASA Songwriters on the Edge of Texas Tacos N' Tunes 2025
On Sunday, September 21, 2025, CASA for Children and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center hosted the 20th Annual Songwriters on the Edge of Texas concert and golf tournament, headlined by Jason Boland and the Stragglers, with Heather Lynn & Jase Bryant opening the show. This year’s Tacos N’ Tunes–themed celebration featured dinner generously donated by TaMolly’s Mexican Kitchen and a festive piñata raffle.
Thanks to the incredible support of sponsors and donors, the event raised nearly $160,000. Every dollar goes directly back to CASA and the TCAC, ensuring children and families impacted by abuse and neglect receive the critical services they need. For more than 30 years, CASA and the TCAC have worked side by side to bring hope, healing, and justice to child abuse victims. In 2024 alone, these sister programs served more than 1,600 children and supportive family members across 11 counties in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas.
