Genoa Central High School 2026 Top Ten

Valedictorian—Lillian Killett 

While attending Genoa Central High School, Lillian was active in band as a flutist, performing in the All-Region and Four States Honor Bands over several years. She was also involved in Mu Alpha Theta, GT, Quiz Bowl, and the National Honor Society. During her senior year, she served as drum major of the marching band, Quiz Bowl captain, and president of the National Honor Society. She was also honored to be crowned homecoming queen and prom queen. After graduation, Lillian plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University to major in biomedical sciences before pursuing medical school and a career as a physician.

Salutatorian—Avery Carver 

Avery participated in Quiz Bowl, the National Honor Society, GT, Drama Club, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She served as president of Mu Alpha Theta, varsity cheer captain, and senior class vice president. Avery completed AP classes throughout high school and finished every science course offered at Genoa Central. She earned a 32 ACT superscore and was selected to attend both the RYLA Leadership Camp and the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. After graduation, Avery plans to attend the University of Arkansas on a full scholarship to study biology and pursue a career as a geneticist.

Cadence Heath

Cadence was an excellent student who participated in cheerleading, pageants, and numerous other activities throughout high school. She was known as a dedicated student who was always willing to help others. Cadence excelled in anatomy and physiology and plans to continue her education at the University of Central Arkansas this fall.

Casey Teague

Casey enjoys visiting national parks, fishing, shopping at garage sales, and spending time with animals. Throughout high school, Casey was involved in FBLA, serving as president for two years, and was also an active member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Quiz Bowl. After graduation, Casey plans to earn an associate degree in business from UAHT before transferring to the University of Arkansas to pursue a bachelor's degree in mathematics and work toward becoming an actuary.

Jayden Young

Jayden has attended Genoa Central Schools since Pre-K and was inducted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore. She cherishes the many memories made throughout her years at Genoa Central, and is honored that her hard work earned the number five class ranking. This fall, she will attend Southern Arkansas University on the Blue and Gold Excellence Scholarship. She is grateful to everyone who supported her along the way and gives thanks to Jesus for helping reach this milestone.

Emilee McMurray

Emilee plans to continue her journey with the National Guard, where she will proudly serve her country. She is recognized for her accomplishments at Genoa Central High School and looks forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.

Caydn Humphrey

Caydn enjoys hunting and fishing and has attended Genoa Central since kindergarten. During high school, he participated in both football and baseball and was a four-year starter on the offensive line for the Dragons. Academically, he graduated in the top 10 of his class while also attending UAHT, where he earned a technical certification that qualifies him to become a licensed HVAC technician.

Addyson Boone

Throughout high school, Addyson remained focused on her academics and always strived to do her best despite challenges along the way. She is proud of her class rank and GPA, which she considers among her greatest accomplishments. Above all, Addyson values the friendships she built, the hard work she invested, and the perseverance that carried her through high school. After graduation, she plans to attend Southern Arkansas University, where she will major in criminal justice and minor in psychology.

Dayne Clark

Dayne is the son of Rhonda and Dale Clark. During his time at Genoa Central High School, he was active in FFA, serving as a chapter officer for multiple years. He also participated in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards through the Rotary Club of Texarkana and received the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award. After graduation, Dayne plans to earn a degree in accounting from UAHT before transferring to the University of Arkansas. He also hopes to earn his pilot's license before graduating from college.

Karyn Stanislawski

Karyn is the daughter of Andrea and Ryan Stanislawski. During high school, she participated in a variety of organizations, including Student Council, Mu Alpha Theta, and the National Honor Society, while also volunteering many hours with Miller County CALL. She also competed in track and field and basketball and was named to Genoa Central's homecoming court. Karyn is grateful for the support of her family and teachers throughout high school and extends a special thank you to Mrs. Smith for her knowledge, encouragement, and the fun they shared. Her advice to others is to never let anyone rain on their parade and to live life to the fullest. Karyn plans to attend Texas A&M University–Texarkana to pursue a nursing degree with an emphasis in pediatric care.
