’Tis the Season to Gift Local Art
The holiday season in Texarkana shines a little brighter with the return of the Holiday Arts Market, now in its 18th year. Set inside the historic Regional Arts Center at 321 West 4th Street, the market has become a beloved tradition where art, community, and holiday spirit come together. This year’s event takes place Friday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Shoppers can look forward to discovering treasures from over 35 artisans, each offering something unique and handcrafted. From richly painted canvases and delicate jewelry to the earthy beauty of pottery, the shimmer of blown glass, and the skill of local woodturners, the variety is endless. Hand-poured soaps, finely worked leather goods, and irresistible homemade baked treats round out the offerings, ensuring something for every shopper’s list.
The Holiday Arts Market is more than just shopping—it’s an experience. Julie’s Deli will be stationed in the parking area both days, serving up a menu of lunch favorites so visitors can relax and refuel between browsing booths. The event is also designed with accessibility in mind, with wheelchair access available through the back parking area.
For nearly two decades, the Holiday Arts Market has been a cornerstone of downtown Texarkana’s holiday season. It’s where neighbors gather, artists shine, and the spirit of giving is celebrated in every handcrafted detail. This December, make it a tradition to shop, savor, and celebrate the arts.
