How did you meet?
Claire: I was one of Connor's mom's bank tellers and helped him deposit a check. A few weeks later, his mom mentioned that her son had been asking about me every since. She then asked if I was single and if she could share my name with him. I reached out to him the next day!
What happened during the proposal?
Connor: I planned for Claire's parents and a group of friends to come to my parent's house while she was getting her nails done. I told her our horse was injured and needed her help to doctor him when she got home. Once we walked out to the barn, she opened the stall door with a sign on it, and I got down on one knee as she turned around.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
Claire: I think my favorite part of the day was our first dance. I was rather nervous about dancing in front of that many people but once the music started it felt like it was just us two.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Claire: We took a late honeymoon and road-tripped to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We stopped in Santa Fe, New Mexico; Durango, Colorado; and Moab, Utah, on our way to Jackson. Connor grew up traveling for high school rodeo, so he had been to a lot of different states, but this was the furthest west I had ever been. We took the Durango-Silverton train in Durango, visited the Arches National Park in Moab, and explored Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone over the course of twelve days.
What makes your love story special?
Connor: The way that we met, started talking, and how easy it was between the two of us to go all in.
What about your life together are you most excited about?
Connor: The future. Watching one another grow into parents, grandparents, and better versions of ourselves as individuals and as one.
