A Gift for Jesus

As we celebrated the Christmas season, Ms. Laurie's class was mindful of the reason for this very special time of year: The birth of Jesus. I read a book last week that felt so personal to me. The words and phrases were so similar to what I've written in past book reviews that I worried mine could be misconstrued as plagiarism. Let Your Light Shine

In Ms. Jessica’s class, we are learning what it means to “let your light shine.” We learned that Jesus calls us to let our light shine before others. In Matthew 5, he says, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” We learned that when we follow Jesus, obeying his word and sharing his love with others, we are letting our light shine.
