When the Time Comes
Doesn’t everyone just love a grilled cheese sandwich? April 12 is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day! So, just in time for patio weather, we are learning how to bring this tried-and-true favorite outside to the grill. With just a few simple ingredients you can create something delicious!
… • Start with a not-too-hot pan and with room temperature butter to begin cooking. • Pick a nice crusty bread. We chose a traditional sourdough and an out-of-the-box raisin pecan bread. About a half inch thick keeps your bread to cheese ratio just perfect. • Spread both sides of bread with butter.

… • 1.5 pounds stew meat … • 1 jar of ranchera salsa … • 32 ounces beef broth … • 1/2 cup of onion … • 1 teaspoon cumin … • 1 teaspoon cinnamon … • 1 teaspoon chili powder … • 2 teaspoons Mexican oregano … • 2 teaspoons crushed red peppers … • 5 bay leaves … • Corn tortillas … • Shredded Cheese …DIRECTIONS
… • Brown Stew meat in a greased skillet. • Move meat to crock pot. • Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on high for six hours. • Remove meat and shred. • Dip tortilla in broth (consume) in crock pot and place in a hot greased skillet.

… • 1 package of Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix … • 1 cup of Guittard Milk Chocolate Chips … • 1 egg … • 1 stick of butter, browned (room temperature ) • 1 teaspoon vanilla …DIRECTIONS
… • Preheat oven to 350 degrees … • Mix all the ingredients together … • Form dough into balls and place on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. • Bake for 12 minutes … • Cool and enjoy!
Easter Style … Spring is upon us! With the season comes beautiful weather and longer days. It’s definitely one of my favorite seasons! Easter will also be celebrated soon. I’ve put together several looks that will carry you from church to brunch and, of course, photos with the family!
