On Thursday, March 30, 2023, Four States Furniture held its Grand Opening. The event was a celebration of the all new Four States Furniture that included giveaways, refreshments, and new arrivals.
DeQueen-Mena, South Central, and Southwest AR Education Cooperatives partnered with Ledwell for a regional student competition event, Girl Power to the Max, to encourage participation in non-traditional occupational areas for females. Any 9-12th grade female student attending a public school within the three Arkansas Education Cooperatives’ area schools was invited to compete. Girls had the opportunity to participate in competitions focusing on CNC Cutting and CNC Lasering technology projects using advanced equipment in Welding and Power Structural Systems.
On Thursday, March 16, 2023, the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana celebrated Business After Hours grand opening of the Farmers Bank & Trust Workforce Center. The new 14,754-square-foot facility on the Texarkana campus will house a welding program, the Secondary Career and Technical Education Center, the Arkansas High Collegiate Academy, community meeting rooms, and more. “This new facility is a testament to our dedication to higher education in the Texarkana area community and the region as a whole,” said Dr. Christine Holt, UAHT Chancellor.

Texarkana College celebrated the opening of the McCulloch Industrial Technology Center on Friday, February 10, 2023. The center will provide more than 15,000 square feet of new training facilities for TC’s Electrical Technology program and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC) program. In addition, the facility accommodates state-of-the-art training tools that replicate the equipment used in today's residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
On Friday, January 27, 2023, the Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Celebration. This year's event was celebrated with "A Night of Jazz" at the Texarkana Texas Convention Center. The celebration was held to recognize volunteers, celebrate the success of the year, install the 2023 Chairman of the Board, James Bramlett, recognize retiring board members, and welcome new board members. Fred Markham of the Pioneer Foundation received the prestigious C.E. Palmer Achievement Award.

The 24th Annual Bramlett Beans and Cornbread was held on Thursday, December 1, at the Texarkana, Texas Convention Center. This event featured beans, cornbread, tea, coffee, and dessert. Proceeds from Bramlett Beans and Cornbread provide Christmas food baskets to families in the community. This event allows them to serve over 100 families with food baskets that include a month's worth of food and Christmas gifts.

Dr. Kirby Bunel held a fundraiser on Thursday, November 10, 2022, to help raise money for the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra's 12th Annual Celebrity Conductor Competition. The evening was held at the home of Jennifer and Darby Doan and included an Elvis look-alike contest.
