Congressman Nathaniel Moran (TX-01) and Congressman Bruce Westerman (AR-04) announced that the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2026 was signed into law and delivers $11 million for improvements at the Texarkana Regional Airport. … The funding supports airfield improvements that will enhance safety and expand access to developable airport property serving the bi-state region. … The project will widen the airport’s primary taxiway and construct a new taxi lane, allowing larger aircraft to operate safely and enabling future hangar development.
